Stroopwafel Brownies

  • 40 ml - Hollandse Stroopwafellikeur
  • 150 grams - Flour
  • 110 grams - Butter
  • 2 - Eggs
  • 200 grams - Caster sugar
  • 1 tablespoon - Vanilla extract
  • 1 small pack - Stroopwafels

Stroopwafel Brownies

Preparation

Preheat

Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Line the baking tin with baking paper.

Melt chocolate

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan with a layer of hot water; don't let the bowl touch the water.

Preparation

Melt the butter in a small pan. Cut the stroopwafels into pieces.

Whisk

Whisk the eggs together with the sugar and the vanilla extract for 3 min. until light and foamy.

Mix

While whisking, slowly add the melted butter to the egg mixture. Fold in the flour, the melted chocolate, the stroopwafels and the liqueur.

Bake

Pour the mixture into the tin and bake the brownies for 25-30 min. in the oven.
