Stroopwafel Brownies

Ingredients

40 ml - Hollandse Stroopwafellikeur
150 grams - Flour
110 grams - Butter
2 - Eggs
200 grams - Caster sugar
1 tablespoon - Vanilla extract
1 small packet - Stroopwafels

Preparing

Preheat

Preheat the oven to 175 °C. Line the baking tin with baking paper.

Melt the chocolate

Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan with a layer of hot water, making sure the bowl does not touch the water.

Preparation

Melt the butter in a small pan. Cut the stroopwafels into pieces.

Beat

Beat the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla extract for 3 minutes until light and fluffy.

Mix

While beating, slowly add the melted butter to the egg mixture. Fold in the flour, melted chocolate, stroopwafels and liqueur.

Baking

Pour the mixture into the baking tin and bake the brownies in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
